I approach the voice from the perspective that while solid technique is key, joy is necessary. Whether you’re sharpening your skills for a career, or just taking lessons for fun, it should always be an experience you walk away from feeling encouraged and excited to explore more.
I intentionally keep the Studio small so that I can give my students all my energy and attention—space is limited. Contact me for more information.

Program Development: “Grow Out Loud”
In late 2019, I began to develop an outreach program, Grow Out Loud, in the hopes of creating a 10 week music class series for children between the ages of 3rd-5th grade. The idea was to incite curiosity and create a safe, silly space to explore music and voice. I prototyped the course at Charlottesville Boys and Girls Club, and I am thrilled to say it was a success.
Though the Pandemic meant I couldn’t re-do the program for the next year, I very much look forward to implementing it again, and improving it as I do. I feel very passionately about creating ‘music enthusiasts’ who will go on to enjoy, participate in, and support the arts throughout their lives.
